Event details

Join us for an informative webinar that will cover the unique challenges and safety concerns of working at height in heavy manufacturing industries.

During the webinar, Stephen Morris, 3M Application Engineer, will cover the hierarchy of control for working safely at height, explore hazards associated with working at height, review the ABCDEFs of an effective fall protection system and analyse common scenarios in the heavy manufacturing industry. Scenarios such as working from mobile elevated platforms, overhead cranes and gantries, ladders and transport vehicles will be reviewed, along with possible solutions on working at height safely.

Working at low height also presents its own unique set of challenges that cannot be overlooked. Workers still face the potential injury from falls, even if the distances involved may seem minimal. Preventative measures and safe practices will be shared on the specific challenges associated with low work at height.

All attendees will receive a CPD certificate.
